National Day Celebrations

The school will celebrate National Day on Tuesday, 8 August 2006. Pupils should arrive in school by 7.30am and assemble in the school Auditorium and they will be dismissed by 10am. All pupils are encouraged to come to school dressed in red and white. For pupils who are using the school bus service, the school bus transport will pick them up as usual.

2. ACS (Independent) “HAVEN” – the musical

ACS(I) is proud to announce the production of their very own musical “HAVEN” which will premiere at their school on Friday, 4 August and Saturday, 5 August 2006. The proceeds of the musical will go towards their Student Welfare Fund. Please contact ACS(I) at 6773-1633 for purchases.

3. PSLE Oral Examinations 2006

The PSLE Oral Examinations will be conducted on Thursday, 17 August and Friday, 18 August 2006. Primary 6 pupils are to be present on BOTH days. They will take the English Language on the first day and Mother Tongue on the next day, or vice versa. For pupils who are using the school bus service, the school bus transport will pick them up as usual.

There will be no school on the 2 days for pupils in Primary 1 to Primary 5.

4. PSLE Listening Comprehension 2006

The PSLE Listening Comprehension will be held on Friday, 15 September 2006. All Primary 6 pupils are to be present. For pupils who are using the school bus service, the school bus transport will pick them up as usual.

There will be no school on that day for pupils in Primary 1 to 5.

5. Intensive Remedial and Supplementary Lessons for Primary 6

As our P6 pupils prepare for their upcoming Preliminary Examinations and PSLE Examinations, the school is mounting its efforts to help our boys prepare for the examination. Remedial and supplementary sessions will continue. In view of this, CCA activities for all P6 pupils will be optional. Now is the time for the boys to concentrate on their studies and to give off their best.
