Dear Parents/Guardian,

Term 3 went off to a smooth start on Monday, 26 June 2006. I trust you had a meaningful time with your son/ward during the recent June holidays; it is important for families to spend time together. As we embark on Semester 2, let us continue to look to God who has blessed the school and trust that He will continue to do so; truly His faithfulness and loving kindness is new every morning. At this point, I would like to welcome 6 new teachers to the school. We are indeed grateful to the Lord for His provision.

1. Class Contact Time

I am pleased to announce that with effect from the beginning of Term 3, the school has incorporated into the class time-table a 10-minute Contact Time (7.50-8.00am) from Tuesday to Friday for Class Teachers to spend time with their pupils to build relationships as well as to carry out any class administration if need be. I would appreciate it if you could ensure that your son/ward comes to school punctually by 7.30am for the flag-raising ceremony.

2. Dismissal on Friday, 7 July 2006

Kindly note that pupils will be dismissed at 12 noon on Friday, 7 July 2006. This is because all teachers are involved in ExCEL Fest 2006 from noon onwards; as such there will be no CCA or any other school activities on that afternoon.

3. Leaving school before the official dismissal time

I would like to draw your attention to a procedure that the school put in place to ensure the safety of all the pupils in the school. Parents/Guardian who wish to take their son/ward out of school earlier than the official dismissal time must get the approval of the Principal. If your son/ward is not feeling well, the office will contact you and parents/guardian
need to come to the general office to fill in a form before picking up your son. I am sure you can understand why the
school needs to be vigilant in this area.
