14 September 2005

Dear Parents/Guardian,

Term 4 started with a song and dance and a host of other fringe arts activities – the Arts Fest Kaleidoscope on the first day of school was a tremendous success. The occasion had the support of many parents who helped to make this event one to be remembered. I would like to record a word of thanks to Mrs Josephine Ng, former Vice-Principal of ACS(P) for gracing the opening ceremony. Our thanks also goes to the S3 Cluster Superintendent, Mr Toh Chye Seng and Chairman of the ACS Board of Governors for their support as well as the PSG Protem committee for turning out in full force. Arts Fest 2005 would not have been possible if not for the hard work of the 2005 Arts Fest Organizing Committee under the capable leadership of Mrs Jillianne Chew (Music Coordinator) and Mrs Grace Khoo (Vice-Principal) who acted as advisor. Praise God for the many talented pupils that we have in our midst. It is my fervent wish that in the coming years, ACS(P) will be able to identify and nurture the talents of all our pupils not just in the performing or visual arts but in whatever area that they may display a particular talent.

Term 4 is a very busy time for both staff and pupils and as we look back on 2005, I cannot help but marvel at the way the Lord has blessed the school. ACS(P) will continue to focus on the twin thrusts of academic excellence and character building believing that when we emphasize character development, academic excellence will naturally follow.

We also want to build on our partnership with parents so that together we can bring out the best in the pupils and nurture them to be “young men of character, credibility and capability”, believing that The Best Is Yet To Be,

God Bless,
