Dear Parents/Guardian,
Chinese New Year Celebration
Please be informed that the school will be having a Chinese New
Year Celebration on Friday, 16 February 2007. As part of the
school’s lunar New Year celebrations, pupils are strongly
encouraged to come to school in traditional Chinese costumes;
otherwise they should be in school uniform. Pupils are expected
to pack their books for the lessons after recess.
Kindly note that dismissal time on Friday, 16 February 2007
is at 12.00 noon. Arrangements have been made for the school
bus transport to ferry the pupils home upon dismissal. Please
also be informed that there will be no afternoon activities on
that day.

121st Founder’s Day Celebration
The school will be celebrating its 121st Founder’s Day
on Thursday, 1 March 2006. On that day, we will be recognizing
those who have done well academically in 2006. We will also be
giving out the annual ACS(OBA) Most Outstanding Teacher Award,
kindly donated by the late Alexander Eu in loving memory of his
son, the late Sandy Eu, who was a member of the ACS Board of
Governors; the inaugural award was last year and the first recipient
was Mdm Chui Yuen Phun. We will keep you informed of the details
nearer the date.

us for the ACS 121st Founder’s Day Dinner. The details
of the event are given below:

39th Annual Swim Meet

if you want him to take part in our Swim Meet. The Swim Heats
is on Tuesday, 27 March 2007 and the Swim Meet is on Thursday,
5 April 2007.
